The automobile has had a lasting impact in American history that was good in the short term, but even better in the long term. In the video, men can be seen assembling cars on a factory assembly line. The automobile created a job market for assembly workers, who found employment in the factories. This means less workers were out of a job. Later in the video, cars can be seen parked at drive-ins and diners, and are even taking road-trips. The automobile has inspired the drive-in - a classic American icon - into buisness. Since automobiles allowed people to travel greater distances faster, this genre of buisnesses (restraunts, diners, and ice cream parolrs) thrived. Thanks to the invention of the automobile, new jobs were created in the short term, and travel was made easier and more conveinient to Americans in the longer term.

The car or automobile back then has had a huge impact in history that has changed they way we live, a good impact. In the video it shows factory workers assembling cars, which many workers had jobs. With the automobile the large amount of people unemployed decreased. Cars were a good way of transportation and delivery. In the movie it showed cars driving to diners, drive inns, so much fun. The popularity of cars created new jobs later and made it easier to travel around. Which later the automobile will be improved to cars that we drive now.

The automobile is one of the most significant inventions in the history of America, and the World. The early footage in the video shows men working in an assembly line, producing more cars than would have been produced by just one man. The use of an assembly line to mass produce items was relatively new to the U.S., so it is arguable to say that the invention of Ford's Model T is partially responsible for the further advancement of industry in the early 20th century. After the footage of the men working on Model T's the video shows a gradual change in the looks and uses of the automobile. Besides the phone and the computer, the automobile is the most utilized form of social connection in the country. Without the car, the country would never have connected in the major way it did during the 20th century. Therefore, the invention of the automobile is responsible for both advancement in technology, communication and transportation in the early 20th century.

The impact of the automobile on American society was immense and has since become an integral part of our country. Americans have always been independent, else we would not of fought a war for it, the automobile was an extension of this independence not kept in “line” by rail road tracks dictating where one is able to travel. Now with the automobile it was true individual transportation freedom no more being beholden to anyone to get somewhere. The automobile also introduced the assembly line, introduced by Henry Ford it made his Model T the most popular automobile in the world. These factories provided jobs for Americans and later for the world and a new market for fossil fuels. A negative impact of the automobile was the adverse effects its emissions have upon the environment and with the mass production of the automobile this negative effect increased dramatically resulting in the current state of global warming, we have a gift for destroying our environments. The automobile also would play a role in the development of America's instant gratification syndrome where we expect everything whenever we want it. The automobile has dramatically changed American society and will continue to do so until the next big breakthrough of transportation is implemented.

The automobile revolutionized transportation which transformed American society as they utilized it. Within the video there is a montage of various restaurants and drive ins with multiple automobiles parked around it. As the automobile gained popularity and prevalence in America, the nation itself was modified to utilize the uses of automobiles. There could now be a greater division of living and shopping, due to the ability to travel few miles in a short amount of time, causing a rise in suburbs that is still largely prevalent in modern times. It also introduces a greater American mindset of things becoming more instantaneous, which becomes very relevant in the following decades. In the video there is a clip of many automobiles driving over one another on the highways going in all directions. As Americans admitted automobiles into society travel became their decision. No longer were cities dependent on connections from railroads, all places became linked by the use of automobiles. The integration of the automobile into American society shaped the nation in ways only few inventions have.

The invention of the automobile has created an initial and long lasting impact throughout America's history. As shown in the beginning of the video, the significant impact of the automobile was made possible by the invention of the internal combustion engine pioneered by Gottlieb Damlier and Wilhelm Maybach in Germany. Without the combustion engine, the creation of automobile would not have transformed transportation, not only in America, but worldwide. The combustion engine introduced an innovative, efficient, and easier way to travel. Another scene from the video shows men assembling cars on an assembly line. The assembly line, introduced in 1908 by Henry Ford, an American businessman and innovator, enabled Ford to mass produce his Model T car. The invention of the automobile was ushered in by the 20th century. By then America was reinventing itself by becoming a modernized nation and emerging as a world superpower. Not only did the automobile revolutionize transportation, it brought people together and this new trend was gaining popularity within society. There was something new to talk about. With the automobile it became easier and faster to travel. Rather than have it be a tiresome journey, traveling with the automobile became a leisure and a way of getting errands done. It helped redefine and shape the American lifestyle and remains a legacy until today.

The invention of the automobile has created a lasting impact by changing American society. Prior to Henry Fords’ development of the assembly line in 1908, cars were handmade and so costly that only less than a thousand cars existed. Henry Fords’ famous Model T car changed the number of cars available to the public so drastically, American society was now able to go wherever and whenever they wanted to go rather than be bound to the schedules of railroads. Through the automobile American’s lives changed in how they traveled, where they traveled, and new businesses thus shifting the social norm from what it was thirty years ago. Currently the car has evolved to become better and faster and are used for going through daily life. The car will continue to be an important part of society as long as they continue to work or they get displaced by something more advanced and widely available, Americans after all do love new technology. Although some may argue that the car isn’t really a necessity to get around, the car is the best way to get to work efficiently and faster. Thus the invention of the automobile and its advancements created a lasting impact in American society by becoming a social norm.

Henry Fords automobile left a huge impact on the US, or even the entire world. Along with a new way to travel, it brought assembly-line manufacturing. This new method was not just used for cars, but many other products. This provided more jobs for those in the cities. This meant unemployment percentages went down. The car also made traveling more enjoyable. People were able to go at their own pace instead of relying on the trains schedules. Because traveling was more enjoyable, more people wanted to go on trips. This brought restaurants, diners and drive-ins. These all became thriving businesses and eventually American icons. Henry Fords automobile could possibly be one of Americas greatest inventions because it led to so much more than just a better way to travel.

The introduction of the automobile revolutionized the world, introducing widespread means of rapid travel, connecting towns and cities separated by hundreds of miles, and proliferating the urbanization of the modern world. The video states that, “No new form of transportation developed during the Industrial Revolution had as significant an impact on more people than the automobile.” Not only was this true for the period surrounding the Industrial Revolution, but the effects of the automobile extend to the modern day, life to day would be hard to imagine without the ability of easy and rapid transportation across vast distances. While other vehicles such as planes and boats offer quick and easy forms of rapid transportation, few can be as easily acquired as automobiles. The video illustrates a change from the production of the Ford Model T, from being prduced by human hands, which the beggining of the video is stated to take 12 hours, to being rapidly produced by machine. This shows the impact of manufacturing on all aspects the United States at the time. The fact that the mass production of such a usefull createion became available on large scale helped sculpt the American image of an economy where every individual had the access to the same products as a citezen half way across the country. Therefore the invention of the automobile greatly changed the economy of the United States.

With the invention of the automobile, it has impacted the U.S. greatly, especially in this time period. We now can simply travel a lot further, more efficiently and in a much less amount of time. But this also created more job opportunities for americans. For example engineering and has also opened plenty more opportunities for working in other businesses. For the most part, travel was made easier and new jobs were created. Automobiles are still making their improvements today, and I doubt that will never stop.

The creation and development of the automobile is one of the most world changing creations in history. In 1903 Henry ford released the Model T. Although this was not the first automobile built, it would set the ball rolling for a transportation system with nearly limitless social and economic results. The car did this by providing freedom from geographical restrictions allowing people travel to faster and more efficiently than with horses. The assembly line was started in 1908 and reduced the time of building a Model T from twelve hours to one and a half. This step would be the first in massively producing cars for the world. The advancement on the assembly line would revolutionize transportation by creating fast and effective vehicles in large quantities. What was shocking to the people in the early 1900's is now much taken for granted today. The thought of not having a car for most Americans today is inconceivable, as most everyone would not be able to travel to there jobs, schools or relatives. In conclusion, the creation of the automobile has been crucial to the advancement and fruition of society

Through the creation of the automobile both America and the world has greatly benefited in both social and economic aspects. Back before the Ford Model T was invented there were fewer than one thousand automobiles in the world. These were primarily owned by the wealthy to show how they lived in both luxury and comfort(also because most people couldn't afford them). Also this "symbol of wealth" was used to show how irrelevant and/or insignificant workers were to those "prestigious" industrial giants. However, as time went on the automobile began to become more available due to the first easily mass produced automobile, the Ford "Model T." This basically set the stage for the necessity of the automobile we Americans have today. Today, without the automobile, we would most likely be very under-developed economically as a country. This being the reason because our country heavily relies on automobiles to ship and receive goods. Therefore, through the invention of the automobile America has transformed both it's social and economical standards and also continues to inspire new ideas that greatly benefit our country.

The automobile's significance has made an initial, and lasting, impact in 20th and 21st century America. The automobile helped improve transportation in America. It allowed people to get where they needed to go on their own terms, and not on the railroad's terms. It also allowed business to become faster, especially with trucks, just like how the railroads had done when they first came to be. Henry Ford's process of making the automobile favored American men looking for work. Unemployment was not an issue for America once this new job opportunity arrived. Workers were now able to provide for themselves and their family. The automobile provided people and businesses with transportation, and provided American men with work. And in the video it showed the fast food drive-thru restaurant, and I'm not sure if it did that to show how places, such as restaurants, had adapted to the automobile, or if it did that to show how restaurants had taken the Henry Ford theory by making more than one person work on food in order for the customer to quickly receive their order.

The automobile has had a lasting impact on American history. Henry Ford first developed the "human assembly line." Automobiles were first handmade and very expensive for all the human labor that went into them. Each piece had to be specifically made and built by workers, and was often strenuous by those moving and assembling the automobile. Because of this assembly line, Henry Ford's automobile, the Ford Model T, became the most popular type of car owned by those that could afford an automobile. Americans are now able to go places much faster and much farther than ever thought possible. In the video, they show diners and other restaurants that serve those who have cars outside. This alters the American society, and brings about a new era of modern technology beginning with the automobile. The automobile has changed in just over 100 years in which Henry Ford developed the first one.

The Automobile, the 'car', has been an essential part of America's evolution as a scociety, allowing the spread of population, communication and improved war afforts. The Automobile made it possible for people to live farther away from their workplace and othr people and places. It allowed the population to spread out farther into the country, though most people moved into te cities, as it provided more jobs. It has also allowed to improve our communication and transportation. The automobile gave independence to the individual, aloowing them to go anywhere, as long as they have the time and gas. There is no way now that our society could function without the car, we rely to heavily on it to go to school, work and stores. The car also made it possible for soldiers to get to battles faster, retreat faster, and allowed better communication between officers. As seen in the video, automible also was the beginning of mass production and facorty line production, increasing the number of cars on the market and the economy as people were given jobs making these cars, and they became cheaper and more affordable for the common man as more were made. America as we know it would be impossible today without the Automobile and the inventions and have sprung off from it.

The automobile was one of the most brilliant ideas ever. From transportation to housing. They had not only a short term, impact oh history but an obvious long term, lasting impact. Since we still use them today, the automobile was also helpful for spreading food, communication and helped a lot when it came to wars. In the video, you can see many men working in assembly lines which meant that many American men were given jobs. In the video you also see people driving to diners, and drive ins, which before the automobile, obviously was not possible. Later, cars were made more efficiently, and made to cary more objects and people.

The automobile had a huge impact on American economy and the growth of the industrialzation. The automobile created a countless amount of new jobs that benefited many Americans. Not only did this raise the economy of the country, it also created a new type of entertainment for the American Youth. Now Americans from all over the United States were presented with the oppurtunity of a more conveniate form of traveling. This made visiting far off friends and family a relatively far more common thing. The automobile was a major step in technology that still vastly affects our country today. For most people life without a car is simply unimaginable. The automobile inspired many young Americans to take advantage of this new invention and create their own business ventures. A good exampke of this would be drive-ins. In conclusion the automobile had a huge impact on American economy and buisiness, this was and still is a very important industry.
